Shadowing Program For Veterinarians, Veterinary Students, and Therapists

Interested in what happens behind the scenes after you refer a patient to VOSM? Spend the day at VOSM scrubbing into surgeries, shadowing consultations or observing our rehabilitation therapists in action. We'll also use this as an opportunity to learn about your practice's specific referral needs and preferences. We also offer externships. Please note there may be a fee for these opportunities.

Round Table Case Discussions

Having difficulty treating or diagnosing certain orthopedic, neurological or sports-related injuries? Join the VOSM surgeons for a round table case discussion on-site or have them come to your hospital for an in-house consultation with your staff. This service is provided on a complimentary basis for referring practices. Veterinary professionals outside our area and/or who do not have a referral relationship with VOSM may take advantage of our web consult service.

American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program

VOSM is the first and only private practice in the U.S. to offer a residency for veterinarians interested in applying for board certification by the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. Surgical Internships

VOSM offers surgical internships to talented and industrious veterinarians who have already completed a one-year rotating internship and are considering surgical residencies. Interns not only participate in and oversee surgeries but also manage their own caseload by conducting consultations, making recommendations for medications and treatments and assisting with ongoing clinical research trials.
