Externship Programs for Veterinary Students

VOSM accepts surgical externs on a first come first serve basis and only accepts two surgical externs at a time.  If you are interested in visiting our practice please submit the following information to our externship coordinator Kate Nechamkin: CV or resume, transcript (unofficial is acceptable), two letters of recommendation and a letter of intent.

Externship & Internship Programs for Rehabilitation Therapy Students

VOSM accepts canine rehabilitation students for their 40-hour clinical observation and training from both the University of Tennessee program and the Canine Rehabilitation Institute program on a first come first serve basis and only one intern or extern at a time.  If you are interested in visiting our practice please submit the following information to our internship/externship coordinator Kate Nechamkin: program application (if required), CV or resume, transcript (unofficial is acceptable), two letters of recommendation and a letter of intent.

For All Applicants

Once your complete packet has been reviewed you will be notified.  If you are accepted into the program you will be sent information on what to expect at VOSM, local airports and hotels, and a summary of the extern/intern experience.
