Dr. Sherman Canapp named Chair of the Small Animal Section of the 6th International Symposium for Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in Veterinary Medicine to be held in Auburn, LA. For more information visit the International Association of Veterinary Rehabiliation and Physical Therapy website.

Dr. Chris Zink awarded 2009 Outstanding Woman Veterinarian of the Year by the Association for Woman Veterinarians Foundation. She was also awarded the 2008 President's Award from the Dog Writers Association of American for her book The Agility Advantage. Congratulations Dr. Zink!

Grand Opening Fall/Winter 2008

Construction began September 2008 on VOSM's new 16,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art orthopedic and sports medicine facility. The facility will be centrally located between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. The surgery suites are based on human hospital design and there will be a canine gym with an objective gait analysis system, under-water treadmills, and a therapy pool. Stay posted for updates!
